Mika Yassur

Mika Yassur is a writer, researcher, and artist based in New York City. Their work examines political and computational genealogies of sight in relation to the built, natural, and destroyed environment. Mika’s writing has appeared in “CULTURED” and “BlackFlash”, and they have presented at Storefront for Art and Architecture and Extraterritorial Studio’s conference "Spectres of the Undercommons: Inhumanities in the Wake of Catastrophe" at the American University in Cairo. They hold an M.S. in Computational Design Practices from Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation.
