Chaeeun Lee is an art historian and writer based in New York. Her research focuses on Asian American and Asian diasporic art, with particular interests in the politics of abstraction and transnational and cross-racial encounters. Before receiving her PhD from the CUNY Graduate Center, Lee was a predoctoral fellow at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and a curatorial fellow at Dia Art Foundation. She is currently a Research and Collections Associate at the Reversible Destiny Foundation in Brooklyn.
