





Anna Cahn is a curator, writer, and art historian based in New York City with a particular interest in movement, dance, and contemporary art. Anna’s research focuses on the politics of desire and sexuality, and emphasizes feminist and queer artists with performance and movement-based practices. She has curated group exhibitions at EFA Project Space and the CUE Art Foundation. She has held previous positions as guest curator and visiting critic for Residency Unlimited; adjunct lecturer at the City College of New York; research fellow at Stanford University; and curatorial associate at the Rubin Museum of Art. Anna’s writing has appeared in “The Brooklyn Rail”, “Camera Austria”, “Hyperallergic”, “Performa Magazine”, and “The Public Review”. She is currently a PhD Candidate in the Department of Art History & Criticism at Stony Brook University.
