Isabel Sonderéguer is an art historian, critic, and curator whose work explores the intersections between art, politics, and affect, with a focus on image theory and the representation of violence. She has curated exhibitions such as “Siqueiros y los artistas americanos”, “Embalsamada con picante”, and “Con mi dedo trazo el camino del agua”, and has written for outlets including GASTV, OndaMx, and diSONARE. She spent five years at the Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil in Mexico City, progressing to Associate Curator, and holds an MA in Cultural and Creative Industries from King's College London, awarded with Distinction. She is currently Associate Curator at the Museo de Arte de Zapopan (MAZ) in Guadalajara.
